Whilst each fabric varies, most of our cushion fabrics will have the following qualities. However, be sure to check the individual product listing to see the exact attributes for that specific product,

• Fabric Type – Corduroy, Boucle, Tweed, Velvet, Cotton Canvas
• Wash & Care – Look at Individual product Wash & Care instructions
• Width – Typically around 140cm
• Weight – Typically slightly heavier weight. Check individual items for their weight in grams per metre (gsm)
• Stretch %  – Typically they will have 0% Stretch

Is it easy to make your own cushion covers? In a word, yes. Making your own cases for your cushions is a great and simple way to brighten up your home decor. If you are a beginner sewer, they are a great place to start. As long as you can sew in a relatively straight line you are good to go and if you want to do something a bit more fancy, there are lots of cushion sewing patterns you can buy too.
