French Terry
Enjoy shopping our lovely collection of French Terry fabrics. With its soft pile and cosy feel, it is also referred to as loop back jersey. Ideal for loungewear, hoodies, tracksuit pants and more.
Whilst each fabric varies, most of our French Terry Jersey will have the following qualities. However, be sure to check the individual product listing to see the exact attributes for that specific product:
- Usage – Dressmaking, Nurseries
- Weight – Most are mid-weight
- Wash and care – Most are cool wash, short spin.
- Width – Typically around 150cm
- Composition – Cotton and Elastane
- Stretch % – Typically a small amount of stretch
- Prints – Spots, stripes, animals and more
- Unit Sold – Sold by the metre
With small loose loops on one side of the fabric (think towelling) and a soft pile on the other hand, French Terry is normally thinner than towelling but has all the same levels of comfort.
