Product Description
Your favourite coloured stretch denims are back in stock. New range of over 20 fabulous colours. A good denim weight for jeans, shorts, skirts, jackets and dungarees. Also popular for children’s clothes. The added 2% elastane will give a soft 1/2% stretch to your outfit – giving a smooth fit and enhancing comfort.
Denim has long been the go to fabric for everyday wearability and fashion statements. Let your creativity run wild with these fab colours.
- Thread – Use a good quality thread. We recommend Gutermann Maraflex stretch thread or Gutermann denim thread. For indigo denims we also stock denim thread selection boxes with indigo and ochre threads.
- Scissors – Use a good quality sharp scissors. We recommend Fiskars Dressmaking Shears. With long sharp blades and shaped-handle for effortless long clean cutting action. Will cut through denim with ease.
- Needle – Use a 90/14 needle for light and medium-weight denim and a 100/16 for heavyweight denim.
- Wash dark colours separately.
- Iron on reverse. Start on a low heat and gradually increase the heat to suit your fabric. Denim can usually take a medium setting.
- Pattern recommendations – Merchant and Mills, Assembly Line, Closet Core Ginger Jeans. Tilly and the Buttons Cleo Pinafore, Ikatee London Overalls.
