    What is meant by oz denim?

    Denim oz refers to the weight of one square yard of denim fabric, measured in ounces. The higher the oz, the heavier the denim. Another reason for it being so popular is the different weights can be used for a huge range of items.

    Denim is typically classified into three categories based on its weight:

    • Heavyweight denim: 16 oz or above
